We have had a Update #3 from the Forestry Commission on the Oak Processionary Moth.

The moths are active on Bookham Common. Take care when walking with your family and pets.

The Oak Processionary Moth season is starting and the Forestry Commission is asking for any sightings to be reported. Details of how to report sightings and the Forestry Commission programme update, click on the button below.

In addition to the Forestry Commission update the BRA Tree Wardens have produced a comprehensive guide to the Oak Processionary Moth.

There have already been sightings in the area, and as a reminder they are hazardous to human and animal health. Do not touch or approach OPM nests or caterpillars.
