Helping Families with Food Poverty in Mole Valley

Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) will do all it can to prevent children from going hungry this winter.  The main MVDC website and main phone line (01306 885001) both provide information for anyone with financial difficulties who may be struggling to buy food for their family.

Councillor Stephen Cooksey, Leader of Mole Valley District Council said, “We work closely with our local Foodbanks and Community Fridges that provide much needed support for the vulnerable year round.  Now, more than ever we want to ensure people know they can contact us for information on where to get help.

“Our friendly customer service advisers can provide details of the local points for Foodbanks and community fridges.  Please don’t struggle in silence, if you are finding it hard to feed your family, during this half term or at any time this year, then the Mole Valley website and our team on the phones can help you.”
