Jacquetta Fewster (Manager of Surrey Climate Commission) is delighted to invite you to a meeting about strengthening sustainable transport provision and use in Surrey. The meeting will be online on Weds 29th October, 6.30-8.30pm.
The meeting will be hosted by the Surrey Climate Commission, a community interest company which supports and amplifies community-led action to accelerate climate action and nature recovery across Surrey. The Commission’s Transport Group has previously discussed ways to reduce transport-related emissions and to support more walking, cycling and public transport use in the county. Local government reorganisation could represent an opportunity to progress these aims.
"I hope you will be able to join us on Weds 29th October to discuss how our different groups could come together to coordinate and support sustainable transport initiatives. Please let us know if you would like to attend by completing this form."
The organisations invited are listed below. If you know of other groups in Surrey concerned about transport, please let us know.
And please consider signing up to receive the Commission’s newsletter. It is published monthly and covers information from raising funds and recruiting volunteers, to Surrey sustainable transport and biodiversity news.
