On 16th October Sustainable Mole Valley (an initiative by Mole Valley District Council) held it’s inaugural Showcase Awards event to celebrate the incredible efforts of local organisations, volunteers, and community champions.

The Nature & Biodiversity category of the Mole Valley Sustainability Awards celebrates those who are planting trees, restoring habitats, conserving green spaces, and helping wildlife flourish. The BRA was nominated for its work in: Litter Picking, Tree Wardens, Blue Hearts in Bookham & Fetcham and Chalk Streams with and received awards for Blue Hearts and Chalk Streams.

Well done to Diane Poole and Steve Poole for their work on Bookham Blue Hearts Wildflower Verges and Julia Dickinson for her work on Chalk Streams.
