Committee, Directors and Annual General Meetings

The Committee Year runs from June to May the following year. The AGM is usually held in July where the Committee and Directors are proposed and elected.

Members may attend Committee meetings which are held eight times a year. The dates and location of the meetings may be viewed on the BRA Events Calendar. 

Committee meetings are open meetings which members may attend.  If you would like to attend, please contact us and our secretary will send you an invite. If the meeting is via Zoom, then the secretary will send you the joining details.

Members may observe the proceedings of the meeting but may not participate in Committee discussion unless invited to do so by the Chair.

If a member has an item they would like the Committee to consider then this must be submitted to the Secretary seven days prior to the committee meeting. If agreed by the Secretary and Chair the item will be added to the agenda as an AOB item.  You may do this via the contact page.

Minutes for Committee Meetings are published in the following month once agreed as a true and fair record at the next Committee meeting.
